Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No. Only the VIP marquee is an over 18 designated area. The event staff however have the right to request ID for any guests purchasing alcohol.

 

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Transport options will be distributed in January. Parking is available at the Windsor Polo Club (free).

What's the refund policy?

Strictly no refunds.

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It is not essential however it will speed up the checking in process on the day. Please have a copy of the email confirmation printed or available to view on your phone.

 

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes

 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes

 

Is the event open to the public?

Yes, the event is open to the public with a range of ticket options to suit all budgets. Please see the ticket options page for details.

 

Where is Windsor Polo Club?

Despite the name, Windsor Polo Club is located in Richmond, NSW, an hour from Sydney CBD, in the Hawkesbury region.

 

How long will the games last?

The games will last a little over an hour, with the first game starting at 11am and the Men's Test Match starting at 3:30pm and finishing at around 5pm, followed by the presentation.

 

What is the dress code?

Wear whatever you're comfortable in during the day, but there are some excellent prizes on offer for the best dressed lady and gentleman, so feel free to dress up!

 

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes, there will be a wide range of catering and beverage options available on the day.

 

What can I bring into the event?

Bring your own picnic, pop up marquee, picnic furniture and picnic. Please note the event is strictly NO BYO ALCOHOL.

 

Will there be plenty of shade in case it's a hot sunny day?

We're hoping that the weather will be glorious and there are shady areas thanks to the row of trees on the north-western side of the pitch.

If you are booking a Car Boot Space, we recommend bringing a gazebo to provide you and your guests with shade. If you do not have one, please contact us if you would like to hire one.

 

What's the best way to get to Windsor Polo Club?

You can drive to the club and take advantage of our free parking, or you can take the train to Richmond station where a shuttle bus will ferry people to and from the club, just a few hundred metres down the road.

Coaches will also be available at additional cost to bring people to the club form the CBD and they will be returning at various points throughout the evening.

 

I want to stay overnight after the event, is there local accommodation available?

For those wishing to make a weekend of it, there will be plenty of local accommodation options, including a discounted rate from our friends at Crowne Hotel just down the road in Windsor.

 

Can I bring my own Food and Drink to the International?

Due to licensing restrictions, the Polo International is strictly no BYO alcohol, so we are ensuring that a wide range of fantastic beverage choices are available for guests to purchase on the day. While food can be brought in, we are providing a huge choice of options for you to enjoy as well.

Both alcohol and food packages can be pre-ordered and collected on the day to make this a whole lot easier.

 

Will the event cater for people with disabilities?

Yes, our facilities support guests with disabilities but if you have any particular concerns or needs, don't hesitate to contact us so that we can advise the event team on the day.

 

Will there be an afterparty?

Yes, we will be arranging a DJ and afterparty at the clubhouse after the trophy presentations. Tickets for this can be pre-purchased online at a discounted rate or purchased on the day.
